How Savio handles data
Last updated: May 30, 2026
Savio is a free online video downloader. There are no accounts and no sign-in — you paste a public video link and Savio prepares a download. We collect only the minimal data needed to run the service, keep it reliable, and prevent abuse.
Savio does not sell personal data and does not use your data for personalized advertising.
Data we process
- The public video URL you paste, so the service can prepare the supported media. No account is required or stored.
- Anonymous usage analytics (for example, which tool was used) to understand and improve the site.
- Technical logs and request metadata needed for security, debugging, abuse prevention, and reliability.
How a download works
When you paste a link, Savio sends that URL to its video-resolution service to find the best available file, then returns a download to your browser. Savio does not sign in to any platform on your behalf and can only access public content.
Service providers
We use a small set of providers to run Savio: Vercel for hosting, Google Analytics for anonymous usage statistics, and video-resolution infrastructure for supported public links. These providers process data only as needed to provide and secure the service.
Your choices
Because Savio has no accounts, there is no profile to delete. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time, or contact us with any privacy questions.
